Today is Saturday, January 28, 2012 Sandon Road Methodist Church has been serving God and the community in Bearwood, Birmingham for many years. Along with other churches we are part of the local Methodist Circuit. In our small part of the group are City Road, Warley Woods, etc.
We are located on the corner of Sandon Road and Poplar Avenue, just off the Bearwood High Street. The number 11 bus stops outside the church. Sat Nav users location is B17 8HA.

Our next Prayer Breakfast is on Saturday 21st January 2012 starting at 10:30 with bacon butty and a cuppa.
Sunday, 25th December is our Christmas Service. We start at 10:30am and it is a shorter service so you can be home to make sure your turkey is ok. Everyone is welcome.
Sunday, 4th Dec, 2011 was our BB Enrolment and Gift Service. It was well attended and we received a lot of presents which will go to boys and girls at two of our local charities, The Karis Centre and Edward's Trust.
Our Mini Fayre made about £325 which wasn't a bad day's work.
The first 'Prayer Breakfast' meeting went well so we are having our next one on Saturday the 17th Dec 2011 and then on the second Saturday of each month. Come along, 10:30am for bacon butty, cup of tea, read the newspapers discuss any issues in the news that are concerning you or make you think.
We are having an Mini Christmas Fayre on Saturday 3rd December 2011 starting at 11:00am. There will be a number of stalls and Father Christmas. You are welcome to meal in our cafe.
For a change this year, 2011, we had a Craft Fayre on the 24th September, starting at 11:00am. There were a good range of stalls and we raised £660. The cafe was a very welcome addition yet again.
Camp this year, 2011, was on the Isle of Wight. Weather was glorious this year with only two hours of rain all week. Did they have a good time? of course they did.They also raised £350 for Barnardos so well done everybody.
