Sandon Road Methodist Church has been serving God and the community in a Circuit along with other churches. We are in a small group of those churches along with West Smethwick, St Johns, Ladywood and Akrill.
We are located on the corner of Sandon Road and Poplar Avenue, just off the Bearwood High Street. As at Dec 2013, the following buses stop on Sandon Road, near the church: 11, 120, 127, 128, and 129. Hagley Road is a few minutes walk away.
Our services are on Sunday morning from 11:00am to 12:00 noon, all are welcome. If you are just passing through, or in the area temporarily, you are very welcome to pop in, share in our services and a cup of tea and biscuits afterwards.
Because of the Coronavirus outbreak Sandon Road Methodist Church will be closed until further notice.
You can see a 15 minute online service, every Sunday, provided by another church, in our group, City Road Methodist Church. Click on the following link:

In our circuit there are several churches. We do not have enough Ministers to have one at every church service. What we do have is a number of Lay Preachers who take our services. You may also see in our planner a reference to 'Local Arrangement'. On these Sundays it is the responsibility of Sandon Road Worship Group to arrange the service. This may mean that the Worship Group take the service themselves or it may be that they invite a speaker/preacher from outside the circuit.
On the third Sunday in the month we normally have Communion.
